In 2008 three young Argentines, Lucio F. Gallo, David R. Vargas and Nicolás D. Gallo, heard God's strong call to plant Churches. They recognized that the way to complete the Great Commission is through the local Church and that the Church is in the heart of God. It was then that E.S.E.F. "Building on the Foundation" was born based on: 

"According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled[a] master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. 11 For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." 1°Corinthians 3:10,11

"and thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else's foundation," Romans 15:20  

ESEF's vision, since the beginning, was "to dream of seeing Argentina, South America and every corner of the earth saturated with Churches of sound doctrine that multiply and impact their communities." 

Due to the previous experience of these young people in the ministry, they saw needs in essential areas and began to diagram the three columns that ESEF maintains to this day: Plant Churches where Christ has not been announced (Romans 15:20), Prepare Leaders by teaching men and women for the ministry (2 Timothy 2:2) and Providing Help for Churches that are in the process of establishing and consolidating themselves (Acts 16:5).
